This darkly comedic and thrilling take on the horror genre turns the typical slasher trope on its head.。改革开放初期，主人公陈晨面对贫穷落后的家乡，立志大力发展经济、改变乡村面貌。她放弃了自己在福海市建委的工作，回到三江村担任村支书，与村里的林威龙、陈采薇、林祖望等年轻人一起整顿村容村貌、筹建工厂。在这个过程中，陈晨遇到了传统观念的阻力，也面临着征地、招商引资等等复杂而艰巨的挑战。陈晨等基层干部带领群众坚定地朝着福海市委市政府指定的“3820”发展战略方向前进，兴建兴民经济开发区、打造闽江引水工程、修建星海码头、三江港。在干部群众的努力拼搏下，三江县实现了“从田野走向世界”，福海市也发生了巨大变化。。
