外星巨兽屁屁怪突然袭击地球大肆破坏，全球进入一级戒备，手足无措的军方决定向全球征集优秀的机器人设计，来对抗屁屁怪。梦想当发明家的麦兜，也带着他设计的“电饭宝”去参赛，机缘巧合下，竟然侥幸当选。于是地球的希望，一下子都落在了麦兜身上！麦兜又能否成为英雄，拯救地球？。夏のある日。 東京に遊びに行っていたはずのミヤコ（藤野涼子）がキャリーバックを転がしながら見知らぬ男性と一緒に京都駅から出てくるところを目撃してしまう空吉（佐々木蔵之介）。 一体、誰と一緒に東京へ…？そう思いながらいつものように訪問診療に出かける。 すると…往診先の提灯屋さんで先ほど見かけたキャリーバックを発見！ 提灯屋さんの跡継ぎ息子・敦彦（結木滉星）とミヤコが付き合っているものと勝手に思い込んでしまう空吉。一方その頃ミヤコは… アルバイトの豆腐配達の帰り道。自転車を転がしていると鴨川でひとりの女性を発見する。 それは空吉のかつての想い人・佐知子（松本若菜）だった。 確か再婚を機に遠くに引っ越したはずだったが、佐知子がナゼ京都に？ 聞けば佐知子の再婚は嘘だったと判明し…。When he learns his days are numbered old count Hervé de Kéraudren decides to hide in a secret alcove and to die there, just to annoy his heirs. As a result of his body not being found the latter will have to wait for five years until they can inherit the count's money.
