大厦A至D座是四家左邻右里，彼此关系和谐，不时带来欢笑声。 故事开始时，凤 (廖安丽) 到祥 (关海山) 工厂暂时上班，凤极不愿意的，因她以太子女身份到工厂，同事们都不敢吩咐她做事，凤极无隐。 后来芳 (南红) 要麟 (任达华) 分一份兼职给凤，凤就当上夜校教师，夜校较品流复杂，凤被学生捉弄，凤有点不悦。 凤的经历还得家人劝勉。另一邻居兴叔一家到芳家坐，因太忙未能教导两名儿女，希望凤能暂代补习，芳亦不反对。 之后各家人就为了一些芝麻绿豆的小事，不时发生争执，但又都和气收场。 甘国亮监制。A troupe of struggling stage actors is rehearsing for a small-town production of a play. Everything seems to be as it should until one of the cast members turns up dead. In a panic, the others try to get out, only to find they are now locked in the theater with the killer! Which one of them committed the murder, and who will get out alive?。
