一场大浪摧毁了海边小镇的学校，带走了46个孩子。十年后，同母亲住在一起的Leo唯一的好友Gabriel即将离开小镇，不料临走前晚两人醉酒溺水，Gabriel身亡而Leo却奇迹般存活。在Leo用学校残骸搭起了一个意义不明的小屋后，小镇的人们将他视为神的使者，神父Douglas更认定，他就是带领人们走出长久以来的痛苦的使者......。three distant and diverse existences caught in a same tension: the search for their own identity and the sense of ''being'' in a present of continuous transformation.
