讲述一对警察在巡逻过程中响应新的无线电呼叫，到达现场解决事件的故事。。对钱有着超乎常人的敏锐度的堤芯子（筱原凉子 饰）作为前诈欺师正在被假释中。出来后，在路上遇到看起来既有钱又好骗的老人久留米勋（宇津井健 饰），正准备在他身上大捞一笔的芯子反倒被作为检察官的老人相中，误打误撞成了会计监察厅特别调查课的一员。 特别调查课的宗旨在于保护国民的税金，防止被其它部门滥用。有着欺诈经验的芯子在这里可谓发挥了她的专长，而她的到来无疑改变着调查课。在这里有曾经热血如今淡漠的金田铁男（桐谷健太 饰），有新进的年轻后辈工藤优（冈田将生 饰），还有她曾经骗婚的对象角松一郎（大泉洋 饰）等。和这些性格各异的同事工作，在改变他们的同时，芯子也在被改造中……。The third season of Saturday Night Live, an American sketch comedy series, originally aired in the United States on NBC between September 24, 1977, and May 20, 1978.
