故事发生在海边宁静的小渔村里。女孩阿桂（李芸妘饰幼年，游昕饰成年）从小眼中的世界，就跟其他人不同——她是个色盲。虽然这注定了她与周遭现实的格格不入，但却没有让她失去对生活的希望，她拿着爸爸送的多色眼镜，发现了不同颜色的天空。跟她一样对生命充满向往的还有她最崇拜的堂哥阿贤 （林柏宏饰）。阿贤 告诉她，在遥远的南太平洋有一座色盲岛，岛民都是跟阿桂一样不能分辨颜色的人。美丽的故事安慰了阿桂，让她觉得自己并不孤单一人，也因此对阿贤哥产生了朦胧的爱恋。阿贤的秘密是他沉浸在同性的爱情世界里。他们都在守护彼此的秘密，一起计划离开生活的小渔村，奔赴不会被人当做异类的自由天堂。。Each year, a father films his daughter on her birthday, asking her the same questions.
