全片以三个不同的故事，分别讲述了三个不同年龄和时代背景的城市青年现下的生活迷茫。 影片当中吕玉来与田原饰演一对80后的上海青年，生活在上海滩有名的轻纺面料市场董家渡。 张恒饰演的都市女白领形象，为爱情不顾一切。。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
