雕塑家袁适之应邀为祠堂塑泥像，抵达后却发现对方的真实目地是为抗日英烈做铜像。预算少、物料工匠奇缺、敌情不断，根本是个不可能完成的任务。但共同的苦难把众人团结在一起，在日寇的扫荡期间，树起了这座丰碑。。A private detective helps a prostitute being assaulted, and notices that she is wearing a very unique ring.
